Magen David West

“Magen David” — the Shield of David — is more than one of the most recognized symbols of the Jewish people. It represents protection, responsibility, and identity. A shield exists to protect something precious, and that idea is central to who we are.

This is not just a place for a minyan. It is a community built around Torah, values, and a commitment to doing what is right. The name also honors the memory of one of the founders’ brother, David ז״ל, who was killed while serving as an IDF officer in Chevron. He stood as a true Magen David — protecting the ability of Jews to live, walk, and daven in one of our holiest places.
